Marcelo Anderson

Marcelo Anderson, MBA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Operational Risk at Central 1 since March 2023. Previously, Marcelo held the position of Enterprise Risk Management Consultant at ICBC from May 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included the development and approval of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and oversight of risk management practices. Marcelo's experience also encompasses various roles at HSBC, including Enterprise Compliance Management and Operational Risk Manager, and leadership as Head of Business Transformation at Volkswagen Financial Services. Marcelo began a career in risk management and quality assurance at Citigroup, progressing from Quality and Customer Service Manager to Senior Risk Manager. Early career experience includes Six Sigma roles at GE Transportation and GE Consumer & Industrial. Educationally, Marcelo holds an MBA from University Canada West and studied Canadian Immigration Law Policies and Procedures at The University of British Columbia.
