Stephen Sweeney

Stephen Sweeney is an experienced finance professional specializing in banking risk analysis. Currently serving as Banking Risk Analysis Manager at the Central Bank of Ireland since October 2020, Stephen previously held multiple roles at AIB from July 2012 to October 2020, including Tracking and MI Manager and Data/Risk Lead Analyst. Responsibilities included developing large data sets for IFRS 9 and Basel model programmes, leading management information initiatives, and evaluating mortgage applications as a Credit Underwriter. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from University College Dublin and possesses certifications from PRMIA and the Institute of Bankers Ireland.
