David Gitahi

David Gitahi currently serves as Principal Data Scientist at the Central Bank of Kenya since August 2022. Prior to this role, David Gitahi worked at Safaricom Limited from April 2015 to July 2022, where responsibilities included data science, MIS development, business analytics, and reporting analysis. Earlier experiences include a role as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University from August 2006 to July 2008, along with an attachment as an Assistant Statistician at the University of Nairobi in July 2006. David Gitahi holds a Master of Science degree in Biometry/Biometrics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, both from the University of Nairobi.
