Sharon Omwega

Sharon Omwega is a Data Scientist currently employed at the Central Bank of Kenya since August 2022. With a strong background in data analysis and financial risk assessment, Sharon has held various roles including Data Specialist at The Room and Business Intelligence Specialist at StepWise. Prior experience includes Data Scientist for Digital Business at NCBA Group and Financial Risk Analyst at Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA Group). In addition to practical experience, Sharon has served as a Course Instructor for Data Management Concepts at DataCamp from October 2023 to January 2024. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, earned between 2012 and 2016.
