Muhammad Sani Abdullahi serves as the Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Nigeria since September 2023. Previously, from April to October 2023, Muhammad was an Associate Member at the Dunning Africa Center. Muhammad held various roles in the Kaduna State Government, including Chief of Staff from July 2019 to May 2023 and Commissioner for Budget and Planning from August 2015 to May 2019, where significant contributions were made to the state's economic growth and fiscal strategy. Muhammad's extensive experience includes positions with the United Nations, serving as Policy Advisor and Economist within the Executive Office of the Secretary-General, and as an Economic Adviser for the Nigeria Governors' Forum. Educational qualifications span several prestigious institutions, culminating in ongoing PhD studies in International Business and Strategy at Henley Business School.
