Mazin Shahwarzi

Mazin Shahwarzi has over two decades of experience in IT operations and management, currently serving as In Charge of Enterprise Systems and Operations Management at the Central Bank of Oman since December 2005. In this role, Mazin manages IT operations to support end users and bank branches, focusing on the design and implementation of IT solutions for various operating systems and databases. Previously, Mazin held the position of DBA Manager, overseeing enterprise databases and ensuring data integrity and security. Early career experience includes managing software and network projects at RAFO and providing IT support at the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund. Mazin holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and National Security Studies from Sultan Qaboos University, a Master of Technology in Information Technology from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Technology in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Bedfordshire, and a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
