Samir Aghayev

Samir Aghayev, CFA, FRM, is a seasoned financial professional with experience in risk management, consulting, financial analysis, and education. Samir currently holds the position of Head of Financial Risk Management Division at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Samir has previously worked as a consultant at the International Finance Corporation and held various risk analyst roles at the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan and the Central Bank. Samir also has experience in academia as a lecturer at Qafqaz University. Samir has a diverse educational background, including certifications in financial risk management and front end development, as well as a PhD in Banking.
