Leslie Tallyn has a diverse work experience in quality management and leadership roles. From 2009 to present, Leslie worked at Central City Concern as the Director of Enterprise Quality, Performance Improvement, and Client Voice, where they led a team responsible for managing quality performance, implementing program design processes, and managing the organization's crisis response process. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a Health Services Leader, overseeing operations of multiple healthcare sites and leading programmatic growth. They also worked as a Quality and Compliance Leader from 2009 to 2013, developing and managing systems of performance improvement and ensuring compliance. Prior to that, Leslie worked as a Research Analyst at Kaiser Permanente from 2008 to 2009, conducting research projects and managing communications. They also served as a Quality Manager at the Huron-Perth Children's Aid Society from 2006 to 2007, establishing a quality management program and enhancing public communication activities. Additionally, Leslie worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2004 to 2006, conducting research, supporting course development, and tutoring students.
Leslie Tallyn began their education in 1999 at York University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communications, which they completed in 2003. During the same period, Leslie also earned a second Bachelor's degree in Political Science from York University. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2004 to pursue a Master's degree in Political Science, which they completed in 2005.
