Peter Beyer

Peter Beyer has significant work experience in finance and accounting. Peter is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Central City Concern since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Adjunct Professor in Government and Non-Profit Accounting at Portland State University starting in January 2018.

Before joining Central City Concern, Peter held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Home Forward (formerly known as Housing Authority of Portland) from January 2013 to September 2021. Peter also worked as a Controller at Home Forward from July 2006 to December 2012.

In addition to their roles in the housing sector, Peter served as an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University, teaching Government and Non-Profit Accounting, from October 2009 to January 2014.

Earlier in their career, Peter worked as a Controller at Thresholds from June 1999 to June 2006. Peter also held the position of Senior Accountant at Bowne Business Solutions from 1998 to 1999.

Peter began their professional journey as a Staff Auditor/Financial Analyst at Andrew Corporation from 1995 to 1998. Peter started their career at Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Audit Associate from 1994 to 1995.

Peter Beyer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from DePaul University in 1994. Peter further pursued higher education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, focusing on Finance, Management, and Strategy. Peter attended the Kellogg School of Management from 1998 to 2003.
