Andrew Horstman

Andrew Horstman, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and procurement roles. Andrew is currently the Director of Direct Procurement at Central Garden & Pet since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SC Johnson, where they held various managerial positions in global and North America procurement, finance, and security and airline operations. Andrew was responsible for leading teams, driving cost and cash savings, increasing working capital, managing risk mitigation, and delivering customer service. Earlier in their career, Andrew worked at Diversey Inc as a Manager in procurement, finance, and internal control roles. Andrew also gained auditing experience at Arthur Andersen and KPMG. Overall, Andrew has a strong background in finance, procurement, and internal control, with a focus on achieving cost savings, enhancing customer service, and fostering innovation.

Andrew Horstman, CPA has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Accounting from Lubar College of Business, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997. Andrew also holds a BS in Political Science - International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, earned between 1989 and 1991. In 2016, they completed a negotiations course at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in the field of Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management. Andrew is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Department of Safety and Professional Services.
