Cheryl A. Gatto

Cheryl A. Gatto, M.A., CTIE has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in the travel industry. Cheryl A. has held various roles, including Regional Sales Director at Central Holidays and Director of New Business Development at Viking Travel Services. Cheryl has also worked as a Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations at the Giving Back to Wounded Knee Foundation, where they served as a board member and cultural liaison, focusing on supporting the needs of Native American communities. Additionally, they have served as Adjunct Faculty at the College of DuPage, teaching Travel Marketing courses. Cheryl's experience also includes working as a Docent at the Schingoethe Center at Aurora University, where they facilitated educational programs on Native American cultures. Cheryl A. has held leadership positions at companies such as Hurtigruten, Sceptre, and Oceania Cruises, where they focused on sales and business development within the travel industry. Cheryl's expertise includes developing strategic alliances, training programs, and fostering adventure travel. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a passion for promoting cultural relevance and educational content.

Cheryl A. Gatto, M.A., CTIE attended Lyons Township High School from 1966 to 1970, where they studied General Studies. Cheryl A. then went on to National Louis University in 2005, completing a B.A. in Applied Behavioral Science. From 2007 to 2009, they attended North Central College and obtained an M.A. in Liberal Studies, with a focus on business, tourism, and indigenous cultures. Additionally, they have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Tourism and Travel Services Marketing Operations from the College of DuPage, although the exact dates are unknown.
