Katie Manende

Katie Manende is an experienced manager in vegetation management with a background in forestry and wildlife biology. Currently serving as the Manager of Vegetation Management at Central Maine Power Company since September 2014, Katie coordinates vegetation management activities across a service area that includes 32 towns and serves 117,000 customers. Additionally, since January 2016, Katie has been the owner of Maine Woods Forestry, providing various woodlot services to landowners in Southern Maine. Prior experience includes working as a Forester and Wildlife Biologist for the Sappi Sustainable Forestry Program from March 2008 to September 2014, providing landowner assistance in timber management and wildlife consults. Katie holds a Master of Forestry with a focus on Forest Certification and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Forestry and Wildlife Ecology from the University of Maine.
