Shantell Strickland-Davis

Associate Vice President, Organizational Learning & Development at Central Piedmont Community College

Shantell Strickland-Davis, Ph.D., CPTD®, has extensive experience in organizational learning and development, currently serving as the Associate Vice President at Central Piedmont Community College since December 2011. In this role, Shantell oversees the College's comprehensive learning and development strategy, focusing on leadership, employee engagement, and talent planning. Previous positions at Central Piedmont include founding Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence and Director of Learning Innovation & Instructional Design, where Shantell was instrumental in developing faculty and employee online programming. Prior to Central Piedmont, Shantell held positions in sales training and territory management, achieving significant growth and performance outcomes. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Education from Old Dominion University and a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University.
