Chris Polhamus has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chris started their career as an Owner Operator of a small moving company called FBT Inc., specializing in relocation services across 48 states. After that, they worked as a Sales Representative for Lorillard Tobacco Company, where they serviced accounts in an assigned geography and negotiated retail contracts for displays and promotions. Chris then joined Lorillard Tobacco Company / ITG Brands as a Division Sales Manager, managing a sales team and serving as a chain account manager and wholesale account manager in a specific geography. Later, they became a Regional Account Manager at ITG Brands and was responsible for account management within a region. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President / General Manager at Central Transportation Systems.
Chris Polhamus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Central Methodist University. Chris attended the university from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Lake Howell High School, where they completed their high school education from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, Chris has also obtained several certifications, including "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" from LinkedIn, which they received in November 2021, "15 Secrets Successful People Know about Time Management (getAbstract Summary)" from LinkedIn, which they received in June 2021, and "Humor in the Workplace" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in April 2021.
