Halie Kines is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Town & Gown Reporter and Local Government Reporter at Centre Daily Times since June 2021. Previously, Halie worked as an Associate Editor at Potter Leader-Enterprise and a News and Sports Reporter at Tioga Publishing Company. Early journalism experience includes roles as an Online Journalist Intern at AccuWeather, an Editorial Fellow at Washingtonian Magazine, and various internships focusing on social media and newsroom tasks. Halie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Digital & Print Journalism from Penn State University and has demonstrated strong skills in reporting, editing, and engaging with audiences across multiple platforms.
