Guillaume Dumas

Guillaume Dumas has a diverse work experience, starting with their current roles as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Université de Montréal since 2020. Guillaume is also an Associate Academic Member at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and a Principal Investigator at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Affiliate Member and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Florida Atlantic University from 2012 to 2014, where they focused on the development of computational social neuroscience frameworks and new human-machine interaction paradigms. Guillaume also served as a Pediatric Neurophysiologist at Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades from 2019 to 2020. Guillaume has contributed to the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders as a Tenured Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Institut Pasteur from 2014 to 2020, where they developed computational models and conducted bioinformatics analyses. Guillaume also spent time as a Visiting Scientist at Institut Pasteur Korea in 2016. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ICM - Brain & Spine Institute in 2011 and a Ph.D. Student at CNRS from 2008 to 2011, where they focused on neural dynamics and social interaction. Guillaume also worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2008 to 2011.

Guillaume Dumas has a diverse education history. Guillaume started with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, which was completed in 2004. Guillaume then pursued a Diploma in Engineering in Advanced Systems Engineering from CentraleSupélec, which they obtained in 2007. Guillaume continued their education at École Normale Supérieure, where they obtained a Master of Science in Cognitive Science in 2008. Following that, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cognitive Neuroscience from Sorbonne Université in 2012. In 2020, they obtained a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR, Accreditation to Direct Research) in Medicine from Université Paris Cité.

In addition to their formal education, Guillaume Dumas has also obtained several certifications.
