Bessy Leung

Bessy Leung is the Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer of CAMH. Bessy is accountable for the overall financial strategies and performance of the hospital. Her portfolio also includes Business Development, Parking, Patient Support Services and Procurement.

Bessy joined CAMH in September 2020 following 11 years at North York General Hospital where she was most recently the Vice President of Performance, Financial Strategies and Chief Financial Officer. Bessy has extensive experience in innovative health care funding models and moving forward performance improvement and financial strategies through collaborative engagement. Prior to joining North York General Hospital, Bessy held progressively senior roles with Ernst and Young providing diverse and complex financial advisory, assurance, and risk management services to the public and private sectors.

Bessy is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Waterloo.
