Samir Athalye

Samir Athalye is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in industry research, financial analysis, and media operations. Since January 2004, Samir has held various leadership positions at the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy, including Economist, Head of Industry Research, and Head of Company Financials Analysis & Products. Prior to this role, Samir served as Content Head at Convergent Media Group for nearly a year and worked at Nimbus Communications Limited from April 2000 to January 2003 as Content Head and Information Architect. Earlier in Samir's career, significant contributions were made at Indian Express from August 1995 to March 2000, where roles included Head of Operations for The Indian Express Online Media Ltd. and Senior News Coordinator.
