Anthony Curtis has extensive work experience in global compliance and sustainability roles. Starting in 2004, they began their career as an International Trade Assistant at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Anthony then worked as a Social Compliance Specialist at Caleres, Inc. from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Program Manager of Social Responsibility at Nordstrom, where they managed social compliance audits and implemented worker enrichment initiatives. Following that, they joined JCPenney as the Senior Director of International Social Responsibility & Sustainability, overseeing a global supply chain and managing private label brands. In 2017, they joined Global Brands Group as Senior Director of Global Social & Environmental Compliance, which later became Centric Brands. Anthony progressed to Vice President roles within Global Compliance, leading compliance organizations and driving sustainability strategies. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Global Compliance & ESG at Centric Brands, responsible for supply chain compliance and environmental, social, and governance indicators tracking and reporting.
Anthony Curtis earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Business from Webster University in the years 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Anthony Curtis obtained a certification titled "Prompt Engineering: How to Talk to the AIs" from LinkedIn in the year 2023.
