Sergio Álvarez

Sergio Marinho da Silva is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology. Currently employed at Turing since May 2024, Sergio specializes in supervised fine-tuning of AI systems. Prior to this role, Sergio worked at IBM, focusing on financial data analysis and dashboard creation using Cognos Analytics from February 2021 to May 2024. At Zetta Health Analytics from August 2019 to February 2021, Sergio analyzed health data and contributed to dashboard development using Power BI and Qlik Sense. Sergio's background includes positions as an analyst in research and development and as a scientific advisor at Sinapse Biotecnologia, providing technical support and training on advanced biotechnology techniques. Sergio holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master’s in Physiology from USP, complemented by an MBA in Big Data from FIAP.
