Stewart Seaton

Stewart Seaton is a seasoned professional in power trading with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Power Trader at Centrica Energy since February 2019, Stewart focuses on trading short-term European power markets, particularly in the UK and CWE, handling trades from day-ahead to front quarter. Prior to this, Stewart worked at SSE plc in various roles, including Prompt Power Trader and Intraday Power Trader, where responsibilities included trading UK prompt power and optimizing a 10GW generation portfolio. Stewart's career began at Jaguar Land Rover as a Purchasing Graduate and includes notable experiences as a Scholar with the Saltire Foundation, recognized as a future business leader in Scotland. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 2014.
