Vivek Katyal

Vivek Katyal has extensive work experience in the legal field with a focus on energy transactions and projects. Vivek currently holds the position of Head of Legal, LNG at Centrica Energy. Prior to this, Vivek worked at TotalEnergies as a Senior Legal Counsel in various roles, including Total Gas & Power Asia and Total E&P Denmark. Vivek also had a brief stint at ExxonMobil as Counsel on secondment. Before that, Vivek was a Senior Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright, specializing in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil, gas, LNG, petrochemicals, and power transactions. Vivek has also held legal counsel roles at Centrica and Cairn Energy. Vivek Katyal's expertise includes advising on various aspects of the energy industry, such as petroleum licensing, joint ventures, project development, and supply chain contracts.

Vivek Katyal attended King Edward's School, Edgbaston from 1992 to 1999. Vivek then went on to study at the University of Oxford from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their MA (Oxon) in Classics.
