Russell O’Brien

Russell O'Brien currently serves as Director at Spirit Energy and Chief Financial Officer at Centrica, both positions held since October and March 2023, respectively. Previously, O'Brien had a long tenure at Shell from 1996 to October 2021, where roles included Divisional CFO, Treasurer, and various finance-related positions. O'Brien also contributed as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Shell Asset Management Company B.V. from 2016 to 2021 and was a Board Member for the FICC Markets Standards Board and Shell and Turcas Petrol A.Ş. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of St Andrews and is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
