Alita F. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of clinical psychology and research. Alita began their career as a Psychometrist at the Toronto Brain Health and Hamilton General Hospital in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In 2019, they worked as a Psychometrist at the Centre For Interpersonal Relationships - CFIR, where they conducted neuropsychological assessments and wrote clinical reports under the supervision of Dr. Rylie Moore. Alita then joined Gladshteyn and Baskakova Psychological Professional Corporation as a Psychometrist in 2020, where they conducted neuropsychological assessments for medical legal examinations.
In 2019, Alita started working at Baycrest Health Sciences as a Research Assistant and later became a Lab Manager and Project Coordinator. In this role, they assisted in setting up a new laboratory and clinical trials unit focused on neuromodulation and neurodegeneration. Alita coordinated and conducted various research activities including literature reviews, statistical analyses, manuscript preparation, and grant funding applications. Alita also trained in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and was responsible for tracking and reporting outcome metrics to granting agencies.
Alita's research experience continued at the Toronto Memory Program in 2021, where they worked as a Psychometric Rater, administering assessments for research purposes. Alita then transitioned to Axiom Real-Time Metrics as a Project Manager in 2022, overseeing project implementation. Currently, Alita holds the position of Manager of Clinical Operations at Centricity Research, starting in September 2022.
Throughout their career, Alita has gained experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments, scoring and norming assessments, interpreting results, and writing reports. Alita has also been involved in various research activities, including project coordination, literature reviews, data management, statistical analyses, and manuscript preparation. Alita F. has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare Management, Innovation and Technology from The Johns Hopkins University. Alita also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Toronto. Alita has obtained several certifications, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from the CITI Program, GCP for Clinical Investigations of Devices from the CITI Program, and Good Clinical Practice Course for Clinical Trials Involving Drugs (ICH focus) from the CITI Program. Alita is also a CDR rater certified by Washington University in St. Louis and has completed the Protecting Human Research Participants Online Training provided by Protecting Human Research Participants (PHRP) Online Training, Inc. Alita has additional certifications in Health Canada Division 5 - Drugs for Clinical Trials Involving Human Subjects from the CITI Program and the Tri-council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans course on Research Ethics (TCPS 2: CORE) offered by the Government of Canada.
