Ishita Patel

Ishita Patel has several years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Ishita started their career at Bhagyoday General Hospital in 2017, where they collected samples from patients and conducted lab tests in various areas. Ishita then moved on to LMC Healthcare in 2021, where they assisted in conducting clinical research studies and performed tasks such as blood and urine collection and processing. In 2022, they joined IVF Canada Fertility Centre, where they drew and processed blood work as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Ishita also joined Centricity Research in 2022 as a Laboratory Specialist in Clinical Operations, where they followed GCP and SOPs, maintained professional relationships, conducted phlebotomy and other clinical procedures, and performed various other tasks related to trial management.

Ishita Patel's education history begins in 2013 when they attended Gujarat University and obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, General in 2016. Following that, they attended Ashirvad Paramedical Institute in India from 2016 to 2017 and earned a certification in Medical Laboratory Technician. In 2019, they enrolled in Anderson College of Health, Business & Technology and completed their education there in 2020, obtaining a degree in Medical Laboratory Technician with a field of study in Laboratory Science.

In addition to their formal education, Ishita Patel has also acquired certifications in the field of medical laboratory science. In June 2020, they obtained the certification for Medical Laboratory Assistants/Technicians from The Medical Laboratory Professionals' Association of Ontario (MLPAO). Ishita also acquired the Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant (CSMLS) certification from The Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) in November 2020.
