Karen Salas has several years of work experience in various roles. Karen started their career as a Bilingual Public Relations Intern at the American Red Cross in 2009, where they collaborated with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop initiatives and strategies targeted at the Latino community. Karen also maintained media lists, wrote and pitched press releases, and supported the department with translation and editing projects.
In 2010, Karen joined JM Family Enterprises as an Operations Specialist. Karen later transitioned to a Claims Payment Analyst role, where they were responsible for vendor payments, account reconciliation, and managing relationships with mechanical part vendors. Karen analyzed invoices and supporting documents to calculate payments within coverage limits.
In 2017, Karen worked as a Project Controls Analyst at SAC Wireless, where they were responsible for project analysis and tracking.
From 2018 to 2022, Karen worked as a Senior Sales Insight & Data Analyst at Abbott Diagnostics Business, focusing on sales data analysis and insights.
Currently, Karen is the Sales Operations Lead at CentroMotion, where they manage and supports essential functions for Salesforce productivity. Karen collaborates with cross-functional sales teams, leverages systems for innovative solutions, and engages planning resources to identify business trends and sales risks and opportunities. Karen also develops and implements sales training programs and tools.
Throughout their career, Karen has gained experience in sales operations, data analysis, project controls, and public relations.
Karen Salas earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from DePaul University from 2008 to 2010. Karen later obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Process Improvement from Nova Southeastern University from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they have obtained certification as an Agile Scrum Master in 2016 and holds a Yellow Belt Certification acquired in 2015.
