Phil McManus

Phil McManus has extensive experience in the financial sector, with a focus on equity analysis and investment management. Phil started their career as an Equity Intern at Pax World Investments in 2005, where they gathered research for the Balanced Fund portfolio manager and worked on projects with the ESG and Compliance team. Phil then transitioned to a Research Associate/Back up Trader role, supporting research requests from multiple funds and conducting SWOT analysis on selected companies. In 2010, Phil became an Equity Sector Analyst at Pax World Investments, where they covered multiple funds and performed industry reviews to establish short-term and long-term outlooks for assigned sectors. Their next role at the company was as an Equity Analyst, where they employed a sell discipline to help reduce the number of equity holdings and produced buy and sell recommendations across all sectors. In 2017, they joined Impax Asset Management LLC | Pax World Funds as an Equity Analyst, analyzing large cap equities on a quantitative and qualitative basis using screening tools and research functions. Phil's most recent position is at Century Bank, where they currently serve as the Chief Investment Officer since February 2020.

Phil McManus earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. Phil attended the college from 2001 to 2005.
