Francisco Roch

Francisco Roch is an accomplished academic and economist currently serving as an Associate Professor at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella since November 2024. Previously, Francisco worked as a Senior Economist and Economist at the International Monetary Fund from January 2019 to November 2024, contributing to the Systemic Issues Division within the Research Department and focusing on Colombia and Peru in the Western Hemisphere Department. Francisco also held academic positions as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Maryland and George Washington University. With a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, along with extensive research and consultancy experience at prestigious institutions such as CEMLA and The World Bank, Francisco has a solid foundation in economic theory and applied economics, complemented by a strong background in teaching.
