Colin Rua

Colin Rua is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in the life sciences sector, currently serving as Director of Marketing for the Asia-Pacific region at Cepheid since August 2019. Colin's previous roles include Director of Global Strategic Marketing and Global Strategic Marketing Manager at Cepheid, along with Senior Strategic Marketing Manager at Quidel, where molecular and cardiac in vitro diagnostics were a focus. Prior experience encompasses positions at Alere Inc. as Global Product Manager and Associate Product Manager in the Cardiometabolic business unit, as well as research roles at NexBio and Pfizer. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego and possesses two advanced degrees: a Master of Science in Biotechnology Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
