Glenn Johns is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in assay development and infectious disease diagnostics. Currently serving as Vice President of Assay Innovations at Cepheid, Glenn leads a diverse team of over 36 scientists focused on early-stage innovation in chemistry, enzymology, and molecular biology, while managing a portfolio of research programs and subject matter experts in molecular diagnostics. Previous roles include Senior Director at Cepheid and Director positions at Abbott and Alere Inc., where Glenn was integral in developing strategies for global health diagnostics, particularly related to emerging pathogens like Tuberculosis and Ebola.
