Mariam Hassan

Mariam Hassan is an accomplished professional in public health and health policy, currently serving as the Global South Engagement Manager and Global South Partnership Coordinator at CEPI since January 2024. Mariam has previously held significant roles at Africa CDC, including Senior Technical Officer and Policy Officer, and has experience as a General Dentist and Health Promotion Officer with the Ministry of Health and Population of Egypt. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from The London School of Economics, a Young African Leader Fellowship in Transnational Governance from the European University Institute, and an MBA in Non-Profit Management from Brandeis University. Additionally, Mariam has cultivated leadership and coordination skills through various roles, including External Relations Coordinator for the Egyptian Medical Students' Association.
