Felipe Valencia

Felipe Valencia is a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research since December 2019 and an Assistant Professor of Economics at The University of British Columbia since January 2018. Previous experience includes serving as an Extended Term Consultant at The World Bank from July 2008 to July 2010 and a Summer Intern at Goldman Sachs in May 2005. Felipe Valencia holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, obtained between 2011 and 2015, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science during 2013-2014. Additionally, an M.A. in Economics was earned from Yale University from 2006 to 2008, and a B.A. in Mathematical Economics and International Relations was completed at Brown University from 2002 to 2006.
