Ameya Talwalkar

Ameya Talwalkar is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and founder of Cequence Security. Ameya previously served as the Director of Development for Symantec's Security Technology & Response team from April 2003 to September 2014. Talwalkar is responsible for Symantec's anti-malware platform, which is widely considered to be the best in the industry for its real-world effectiveness and performance. The platform uses a combination of signature-based and machine learning techniques to block known and unknown threats. The platform is part of Symantec's end-point protection, gateway security, and cloud/proxy security solutions.

Ameya Talwalkar has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in EE from Sardar Patel College Of Engineering. Ameya also has a degree from Tilaknagar Vidya Mandir.
