Wilke Heijs

Wilke Heijs is an experienced professional in the field of crop protection and phytopathology. Currently serving as Development Manager at Ceradis Crop Protection B.V. since November 2015, Wilke oversees the development phase of Ceradis products, providing technical support to distributors and customers. As a Phytopathologist, Wilke established the phytopathology department and developed greenhouse experiment protocols. Wilke also holds the position of General Manager at Arec Crop Protection since March 2020. Wilke's prior experience includes research at CABI, an internship at Koppert Biological Systems, and various roles in customer service, demonstrating strong teamwork and stress management skills. Wilke's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biology, focusing on Bio-interactions, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, specializing in Ecology and Biodiversity, both from Wageningen University & Research.
