Natalia Vassilieva

Natalia Vassilieva is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning, software development, and academic instruction. Currently serving as VP & Field CTO of Machine Learning at Cerebras Systems since February 2019, Vassilieva has held various leadership positions, including Senior Director and Director of Product in the ML sector. Prior to joining Cerebras, Vassilieva worked at Hewlett Packard Laboratories for over a decade, focusing on deep learning workloads and Memory Driven Computing. Vassilieva has also contributed to academia as an Associate Professor and lecturer at institutions like Saint-Petersburg State University, while accumulating industry experience through roles at Soft-Werke Co. Ltd., T-Systems, and others. Vassilieva earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Information Technology from Saint Petersburg State University.
