Andreas Hanselowski

Andreas Hanselowski is a research leader at Cerence Inc., where since April 2020, Andreas has managed projects focusing on General Knowledge, car-specific Question Answering, Dialog and Conversational AI, as well as Generative AI and Large Language Models. Prior to this role, Andreas served as Principal Research Scientist, specializing in Question Answering, Natural Language Understanding, Conversational AI, Neural Search, Information Retrieval, and Knowledge Base Question Answering. Andreas holds two doctorates: one in natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning from TU Darmstadt, obtained in March 2020, and another in computational engineering from Uni Stuttgart, completed in September 2016, with a focus on computational mechanics and machine learning methods.
