Smit Achakapure

Smit Achakapure is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Cerence Inc. since December 2020, Smit previously held the position of Project Manager at YASH Technologies from April 2019 to December 2020, where Smit facilitated Scrum events and coached teams on Agile practices. Prior roles include Technical Manager at Mosaic Network Inc., where Smit gathered and documented development requests and maintained project schedules, and Development Team Lead at Direct Hit Online, overseeing resource planning for web and mobile applications. With a foundational background in software development and education, Smit holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Graduate Certification in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
