Waqas Akhtar

Waqas Akhtar, CPA, has extensive experience in technical revenue accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Technical Revenue Accounting at Cerence Inc. since January 2021, Waqas previously held various positions in revenue accounting at Nuance Communications and Tilray Brands, Inc. Notable roles include SEC Reporting Manager at Tilray and Manager II at Nuance. Earlier in the career, Waqas worked as a Senior Audit Associate at PwC and as an Audit Associate at Deloitte Canada. Waqas holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Manitoba and is a certified public accountant licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy.
