Rushvi Shah is a dedicated academic representative at Imperial Materials since January 2023, actively participating in Student Staff Meetings to address student concerns and facilitating communication between students and faculty. As a student ambassador, Rushvi inspires prospective students to pursue careers in Materials Engineering while promoting women's participation in STEM. Currently a research fellow at Ceres, Rushvi focuses on enhancing solid oxide fuel cell layers for a sustainable future. Previous experience includes an undergraduate research role at the Henry Royce Institute, where modeling zirconium HCP crystal structures was conducted, and leadership as Student Council President at Da Vinci International School Antwerp, organizing activities and bridging communication between students and professors. Additional roles include managing sponsorship and budgets for TED Conferences and an internship at the University of Louisville, exploring solar concentrators. Rushvi is pursuing an MEng in Materials Sciences and Engineering at Imperial College London, complemented by studies in Business/Managerial Economics at Imperial College Business School.
