Kayla Tenney

Kayla Tenney has a strong background in tax research and analysis. Kayla currently works as a Tax Research Manager at CereTax since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Tax Analyst at Vertex Inc. from July 2020 to September 2022. Kayla also gained experience as a Tax Research Analyst I at Avalara from March 2019 to July 2020.

Before entering the tax industry, Kayla worked at the Iowa Department of Revenue as a Management Analyst from June 2016 to April 2018 and as a Revenue Examiner from July 2014 to June 2016. Kayla also worked as a Financial Aid Specialist and Administrative Secretary at Hawkeye Community College from October 2010 to July 2014, and as a Document Image Specialist at MidWestOne Bank from November 2010 to September 2011.

Kayla's work experience extends beyond the United States, as they worked as a Guest English Teacher for the EPIK (English Program in Korea) from November 2009 to November 2010.

Kayla Tenney obtained their Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from the University of Northern Iowa, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In February 2018, they also obtained a CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute.
