Harald Takle

Harald Takle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Harald began their career in 2001 at Nofima AS as a Senior Researcher, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they also became a shareholder at Merlunor AS from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2015, Harald worked at AVS Chile SA as a Senior Researcher and Scientific Advisor. In 2015, they joined Marine Harvest ASA as a Fish Health Specialist, staying until 2017. Currently, Harald is working at Cermaq Global, where they have held various positions since 2017. Harald started as an R&D Manager Farming Technology from 2017 to 2020, then became the Head of Seawater Innovation & Development from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Harald holds the position of Head of Strategy and Seawater Innovation at Cermaq Global.

Harald Takle attended the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) from 1997 to 2001. During this time, they did not obtain a specific degree or specialize in any particular field of study. Later, from 2001 to 2005, they continued their education at UMB and obtained a Dr. Scient degree in Biotechnology. In 2016 and 2017, Harald attended the AFF Solstrandprogrammet Accelerate, although the degree name and field of study for this program were not provided.
