Udara Ranasinghe

Udara Ranasinghe is an experienced electrical engineer with a solid background in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at CertainTeed since March 2015, Udara has focused on evaluating applications, analyzing data, testing installations, programming new applications, and troubleshooting issues. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Controls Engineer at R G Weber Control System Inc., where responsibilities involved industrial manufacturing machine retrofitting, and installation of PLC, HMI, CNC, and robots. Udara's earlier positions include an Engineering Trainee role at Dialog Axiata PLC and a Trainee Electrical Engineer position at Panawanna Tea Manufacturing, where skills in programming and troubleshooting were developed. Udara holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Control Systems from Southeast Missouri State University, an Associate's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, and a strong foundational education in mathematics and sciences from Ananda College in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
