Gustavo A. Diaz (He/Him) has been working in the professional field since 2000. Gustavo A. began their career as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Phoenix. In 2003, they became an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Broward College. In 2007, they took on the role of Principal at DQC Consulting, LLC / Metaspire Consulting, LLC. In 2008, they became a Consultant at WageWorks. In 2009, they were a Senior Corporate Consultant at the South Florida Manufacturers Association. Gustavo A. began their educational journey in 1978 when they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Penn State University. Gustavo A. then obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the same university in 1987. In 1999, they began Graduate Studies (Non-deg) in Statistics and Computer Engineering at Florida Atlantic University and completed the program in 2011. In 2015, they obtained a Big Data degree in Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University. Gustavo A. also obtained a B. Sc. Chemical Engineering / B. Sc. Industrial Engineering and a Post Baccalaureate in Informatics from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR. In addition, they have obtained certifications from SAS and lynda.com in 2020 and 2014, respectively.
