Miguel Paniagua

Miguel Paniagua is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Microbiology Lead Technician and previously as a Laboratory Assistant at Certified Laboratories, Inc. since April 2023. Miguel's involvement with the University of California, Merced includes active participation in the BioMedical Engineering Society and the ASUCM Campus Activities Board, where responsibilities as Hospitality Manager involved coordinating campus-wide events. Miguel has also contributed to the Hermanos Unidos organization by fostering academic excellence and community service among Latino male students, including volunteer work for the Making Strides of the Bay Area Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Prior experience includes working as a Construction Worker at N C Construction and a Crew Member at Chipotle Mexican Grill. Miguel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Merced, earned in May 2023.
