Joseph Tshiteya has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Joseph started their career as an independent contractor, working as an Information Technology Consultant. Joseph then worked as a Senior Systems Administrator and Technical Team Lead at Earth Resources Technology, where they were responsible for maintaining and analyzing the company's Windows-based server infrastructure.

Tshiteya later joined the SSA/NG/GCI as an SME3 Windows Server Engineer, followed by a role as a Senior Systems Engineer IV at ICMA-RC. In this role, they provided guidance and design considerations for migrating Active Directory and upgrading the Public Key Infrastructure architecture.

Joseph later joined GAMA-1 Technologies as a Systems Security Engineer IV/IT Security Architect/MSS-MSL Project Coordinator/Systems Engineer. In this role, they performed Information Technology Point-Of-Contact duties, designed and deployed infrastructure solutions, and implemented secure Identity and Access Management systems.

Most recently, Tshiteya worked at PwC as a Base Infrastructure Lead/IT Consultant. Joseph led vulnerability remediation and mitigation efforts for Verily Life Sciences, LLC, and implemented security solutions such as the Microsoft Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).

Joseph is currently working as a Solutions Installation Engineer at CertiPath.

Joseph Tshiteya's education history begins in 1987 when they attended Pennsylvania State University for Information Technology studies. Joseph then transferred to the University of Delaware in 1988 and completed a program that lasted until 1992. Following this, Joseph pursued further education at Delta Microsystems from 1997 to 1998, earning a degree in Windows NT 4.0. In 2011, they attended Global Knowledge and received a degree in Windows Server 2008 R2.

In addition to their educational background, Joseph has obtained multiple certifications. Joseph is certified in Cybersecurity (CC) by (ISC)², obtained in March 2023. Joseph also holds a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, obtained in February 2023.
