Head Of Learning And Organisational Development at Certitude

Lisa Matthew is an experienced professional with a diverse background in learning and organizational development. Lisa currently serves as the Head of Learning and Organizational Development at Certitude, where they lead the development and implementation of the company's L&OD strategy. In this role, they are responsible for managing the Learning and Development/Organizational Development function and ensuring effective talent development to support Certitude's strategic objectives.

Prior to their role at Certitude, Lisa worked as the Head of Learning and Performance at Guild Care. Here, they spearheaded the implementation of a three-year Learning and Development strategy aligned with the organization's overall strategy. Lisa managed the L&D function, delivering high-quality programs to meet business and regulatory requirements. Lisa also played a key role in culture change initiatives and management development frameworks, restructuring the staff members' learning program for increased flexibility and accessibility.

Before Guild Care, Lisa held the position of Training Development Manager at Safety Net, where they oversaw the training program and mentored a team of professionals. Lisa managed a significant training team budget and achieved a motivated workforce of 2,000 learners.

Lisa has also gained experience as a Director at PlayMosaic Ltd, Early Intervention and Communications Lead at West Sussex Council for Voluntary Youth Services (WSCVYS), and in various roles at Chichester District Council, West Sussex County Council, Chichester College, and York College.

Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated their ability to lead and manage learning and development initiatives, drive organizational change, and achieve outstanding results. Lisa holds the Associate level membership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is a Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute (FLPI).

Lisa Matthew obtained a CIPD Level 5 Learning and Development degree from Avado in 2017. In 2019, they obtained a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Learning and Development from CIPD. Lisa also holds a TAQA Assessment Qualification Level 3 Units 301, 302, and 303 from City and Guilds, which they obtained in January 2013. Lisa earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Play & Playwork from the University of Gloucestershire in October 2011. Lisa has a 7307 Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners from City and Guilds, obtained in July 2006. Recently, Lisa became a Fellow of The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute) in April 2021.
