Dawn Hammond, PHR, DDI Facilitator

Dawn Hammond, PHR, DDI Facilitator has extensive experience in human resources and leadership. From 2003 to 2011, they served as the Senior Director of Benefits and Employee Rewards at Horizon Bay Retirement Living, where they oversaw HR operations, payroll processes, and annual audits. Dawn successfully implemented a new Employee HRIS system and achieved less than a 3% annual increase in medical insurance costs for three consecutive years.

In 2011, Dawn joined Laser Spine Institute as the Director of Human Resources, responsible for leading HR practices and objectives. Dawn focused on employee satisfaction, resulting in a low turnover rate.

After Laser Spine Institute, Dawn worked at Trinity Services Group as the Director of Human Resources Support from 2013 to 2018. In this role, they led the implementation of a new HR infrastructure, including an HRIS/payroll system and FMLA and Leave administration system. Dawn also developed and executed action plans to improve employee engagement, conducted employee investigations, and provided HR support to the leadership team.

Most recently, Dawn joined Certus in 2022 as the Chief Human Resources Officer, where they hold a senior leadership position overseeing all HR functions.
