Arshad Shabeer

Arshad Shabeer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Arshad is currently the Director of Technical Services at CESI Middle East, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at CESI as the Regional Sales Director for their Testing & Certification Division from January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for identifying emerging markets, conducting competitor analysis, and developing strategic plans.

Before joining CESI, Arshad served as the General Manager at Al Yamuna Densons FZE from July 2013 to December 2014. Arshad achieved significant business improvements through pre-qualifying the company in major utilities and implementing cost-saving approaches. Arshad also played a key role in market segmentation and guiding the sales team.

From January 2009 to June 2013, Arshad worked as the Business Development Manager at Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo W.L.L. Arshad successfully established the company's T&D business from scratch and positioned it as a contender in the power distribution market.

Prior to that, Arshad held the position of Manager Sales & Marketing at Adwan Marketing Co. from September 2002 to May 2008. Here, they focused on sales of hazardous location products to oil & gas clients and T&D products for utilities.

Arshad also held various roles at NGEF Ltd., including Assistant Manager for EPC Projects from March 1995 to March 1999 and Senior Sales Engineer for Transformers from June 1992 to March 1995.

Arshad Shabeer completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from B. M. S. College of Engineering, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they obtained a post graduate diploma in management and a post graduate diploma in marketing management from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, completing these programs in 1999. Prior to their college education, Arshad attended New Horizon Public School from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained their 10th-grade degree.
