Maike Bouwer

Maike Bouwer is an experienced event coordinator currently working with CEV - Confédération Européenne de Volleyball since January 2023. Previously, Maike served as an event manager at the European Handball Federation from September 2018 to January 2023 and contributed as a project manager at Nederlands Congres Bureau for the Nationale Sport Expo from November 2017 to October 2018. Maike has a strong background in sports, including a significant tenure as a handball player with VOC Amsterdam from August 2008 to July 2022, where Maike was part of the Dutch Champions in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Maike held the position of product manager at Maya Gold Trading BV between December 2015 and December 2017. Maike holds a degree from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (2011-2015) and completed the international baccalaureate at Nyborg gymnasium.
