Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Clean Energy Absorption Transmission Project at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB)

Chameera Rajapaksha is a Senior Electrical Project Engineer with over a decade of experience at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since March 2010. Chameera has led multiple projects, including the construction of significant transmission lines and substations, focusing on clean energy absorption and renewable energy projects. Notable projects include the 220kV Transmission Line from New Habaranga to Kappalthurai, the 132kV Ragala-Pallekele and Maliboda-Polpitiya lines, and various grid substations enhancing energy infrastructure. Prior experience includes working as a Power Engineer at airtel, focusing on earthing and power management for telecommunication towers. Chameera holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Installations and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Moratuwa.
